-- so i'm watching brown sugar as i write this post and inside,
i am smiling. this is one of my all time favorite movies, mainly
because it reminds me somewhat of my relationship with quintin.
it took both of us quite awhile to accept the fact that we truly
belonged together, and i am so grateful it did. separate lives
coming together as one wasn't an easy process, but i wouldn't
have had it any other way. i love my best friend. but more importantly,
i love being IN-LOVE with my best friend. he's my hip-hop.

I watched this last night & it's amazing how this movie will fit so well into life, & what a person is going through.
ReplyDeleteThis movie came on one night when I was with "L" lol, & that's the moment I knew he was my first true love...& it came on last night when I knew that I needed a change. Like when Dre decides to quit at Millennium & start a new label. I had to start my own label.
Geez, I feel connected you to through what you have written about things. SO LAME. lolll. But, we are a lot alike in mannny ways.
Rap is what u do, spit rhymes & write it, u know. Hip Hop is a movement music, dancin' & fashion. Just in case u don't know...lol
